Restoration

In April 2011 Ardaluin Trust went into partnership with BAC to form Ardaluin Regeneration Trust. During 2012 - 2013 the Trust secured funding to restore and refurbish Ardaluin House.

The restoration project enabled the Trust to re-roof Ardaluin House, install new windows throughout, enhance the energy efficiency of the building through internal dry lining to the walls, introduce en-suite facilities to all dormitories and re-commission the self catering kitchen facilities and dining area.

The Trust is presently re-modelling part of the 8 acre site creating a Forest School and Care Farming facility within the existing walled garden on site. This will be completed by end of Autumn 2014.

The first phase development allowed Ardaluin House to be officially opened for business
by The Earl of Wessex on 12th February 2013.
